- •For loss of half or less, file under Maxilla Loss (Half or Less) — DC 9915, rated at 30%.
- •Service connection may be direct (trauma) or secondary to a service-connected malignancy or radiation treatment.
- •A nexus letter from an oral surgeon or maxillofacial surgeon is strongly recommended.
